These puff pastry apple tarts with goat cheese and honey are crispy, creamy, and so delicious! They are the perfect pairing of sweet, salty, and savory. Make these effortless puff pastry tarts to take to a party or brunch!

What you’ll need:

  • Apples: I prefer to use sweeter apples like Fuji or Honey Crisp for these tarts.
  • Honey: Feel free to substitute honey for agave nectar or maple syrup.
  • Goat cheese: this cheese pairs well with apples, but gorgonzola cheese or brie cheese would be just as tasty for these.
  • Puff pastry sheets (store-bought): this recipe makes two- 3″x4″ individual tarts, but can be easily multiplied to make more or one big sheet pan to share!
  • Egg: for the egg wash, you can substitute the egg with milk or an egg alternative!
