These spicy garlic udon noodles are slightly spicy, savory, and really flavorful. This recipe can be made in less than 15 minutes, making it the perfect quick meal to make!
What you’ll need to make this Spicy Garlic Udon:
- Salted butter
- Garlic
- Fly By Jing Chili Crisp Vin: can substitute with another brand of choice chili crisp or my chili oil recipe.
- Oyster sauce
- Soy sauce
- Onions
- Udon noodles
Optional toppings:
- Poached egg
- Furikake Rice Seasoning

How to make this recipe at home:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the frozen udon noodles in the hot water to thaw for about 1-2 minutes. Drain the water and set the udon noodles aside.
Using a large pan, melt the butter on medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic to the butter and saute until fragrant.
Add the FBJ Chili Crisp (or any other choice of chili oil), oyster sauce, and soy sauce to the pan and mix to combine. Turn off the heat.
Transfer the udon noodles to the pan and toss the noodles in the sauce until evenly coated.
Transfer the udon noodles to a serving dish. Garnish with sliced green onions, a poached egg (optional), and a sprinkle of furikake rice seasoning (optional).
